I'm pretty new to the show. Did they ever explain why Fitz was so mean to Eli? Did he like Clare or something? Sorry, just curious.

Well technically their rivalry started when Fitz wouldn’t move out of Eli’s parking space and broke a skeleton card hood ornament. And from there they just kept hurting in each other time and time again. But Clare did eventually play a bigger role in why they didn’t get along. Just not originally.
